143: Covid-19 Special: Effects of coronavirus on current retail trends in Beef & Lamb and what AHDB are doing to help

Welcome to the second podcast in our series which focuses purely on how the coronavirus outbreak is affecting the beef and lamb sector. In this episode we hear from AHDB’s Retail Insight Manager, Rebecca Gladman, who provides an update on current retail trends and meat category performance in-store, as well as our Senior Consumer Insight Manager, Steven Evans, who discusses the effect in which the lockdown has had on our eating habits in the home and the future impact this may have over the coming months. To round things off, AHDB’s Strategy Director for Beef and Lamb, Will Jackson, speaks about some of the work that is going on in the sector to address these consumer challenges and, in particular, our new #SteakNight campaign.
